Rohde & Schwarz HM8118 LCR Meter - Eleshop

The Rohde & Schwarz HM8118 series is a programmable LCR meter with high precision, a large selection of measuring functions and a wide measuring frequency range. The measuring voltage can be adjusted, and even increased externally via a connection, in order to be able to measure very extensively. Components can be measured up to femto Farad and nano Henry ranges.

The HM8118 can measure non-ideal component characteristics. For example, at the push of a button, the equivalent resistance series of a component can be calculated. Furthermore, properties such as impedance and admittance, phase angle, dissipation factor and quality factor can be calculated on the meter.

In addition to passive components, the meter can also optionally measure specific parameters of transformers. Not only on 50/60Hz but on the whole frequency range.

In terms of connectivity, the meter is equipped with a USB and RS-232 connector. Optionally a GPIB connector is available. Via these connectors the device can be operated remotely. The connectors are galvanically isolated.

HO880 GPIB	IEEE-488 GPIB interface expansion for the meter.
HZ181 test fixture	This option offers the possibility to easily push components into the slots. No more connecting clamps but pushing the component into the fixture.
HZ186 test lead	The option is designed for measurements on transformers or transmitters, with measuring wires.
