Rolling Shutter Test Video Panasonic Lumix DMC G7 vs GH4 Camera
Video comparison of how bad the rolling shutter is on the Panasonic Lumix DMC G7 vs GH4 Camera. This side by side view of how much lean and blur you will see when the GH4 and G7 are show at the same time. The Panasonic GH4 appears to be reading the lines off the CMOS sensor much faster than the G7. You see the most noticeable rolling shutter effect when the cameras and the backgrounds you photograph change in relations to one another with the “roll” of the shutter.
Neither of these CMOS Micro Four Thirds sensors will give you the accuracy of a Total Shutter CCD sensor like you find on the Canon 5D Mark III.
