Knotty Alder

Knotty Alder is light, soft hardwood, medium density, close-grained wood with a uniform texture (with the exception of the knots in Knotty Alder)   and subtly varying wavy grain pattern. Delivery time of 8 - 12 weeks from the date of Purchase Order.

Merbau

Merbau is an orangish-brown color when freshly cut, which ages to a darker reddish-brown. Color between boards can be highly variable. There are also small yellow mineral deposits found throughout the wood, making it easier to separate from other lookalikes. Delivery time of 8 - 12 weeks from the date of Purchase Order.

Okume

Okume ranges from a pale pink to light brown. Color darkens with age. Delivery time of 8 - 12 weeks from the date of Purchase Order.

Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus has color ranges from a lighter salmon pink to a darker brownish red. Appearance has been likened to both Black Cherry and Honduran Mahogany. Color tends to deepen with age. Delivery time of 8 - 12 weeks from the date of Purchase Order.

White Meranti

White meranti is a pale yellowish-orange when freshly cut, aging to a golden yellow-brown.  Delivery time of 8 - 12 weeks from the date of Purchase Order.

Red Meranti

Red Meranti has color that can be highly variable depending upon the species: ranging from a pale straw color, to a darker reddish brown.  Subject to availablity of current stocks.

Nyatoh

Nyatoh can be pale pink to reddish or purplish brown. Delivery time of 8 - 12 weeks from the date of Purchase Order.

Red Oak

Red oak is a light to medium brown, commonly with a reddish cast. Quartersawn sections display prominent ray fleck patterns. Delivery time of 8 - 12 weeks from the date of Purchase Order.

White Oak

White oak is a light to medium brown, commonly with an olive cast. Quartersawn sections display prominent ray fleck patterns. Delivery time of 8 - 12 weeks from the date of Purchase Order.

Walnut

Walnut can range from a lighter pale brown to a dark chocolate brown with darker brown streaks. Color can sometimes have a gray, purple, or reddish cast. Delivery time of 8 - 12 weeks from the date of Purchase Order.

Terms and Conditions

RDA products are warranted to the original purchaser against defects in manufacture or material for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase/invoice. This waranty applies under conditions of normal and regular use. Warranty is only applicable in Australia. "Defects" as used in this warranty is defined as any imperfections that may impair the use of the item for which it was intended to. This warranty is limited to the replacement of defective parts and/or components, subject to availability of stock. Assembly of labor charge is excluded. Royal Doors Australia reserves the right (copyright symbol here - ©) to request proof of purchase and/or any other proofs to document during the warranty claim. Warranty does not cover - Texture, color or grain of wood and other covering materials due to natural variations and also any comparison against product images on the Royaldoorsaustralia website RDA does not cover defects caused by improper assembly or disassembly, intentional / un-intentional damage, any modifications, misuse, accidents, negligence or exposure to the dangerous elements (eg: Chemicals, Cleaning acids or similar). RDA shall process warranty, provided the "Care and Maintenance" of the purchased products are followed meticulously as given below

Door Care and Maintenance

Ensure to the purchased products are stored "Flat position" in a well ventilated area and dry atmosphere before prior to installation Follow the paint manufacturers instructions, especially on the number of coats that needs to be applied on ALL door sufaces Recommended to choose LIGHT color paint to the main doors and DARK color paint to be strictly avoided to claim warranty Ensure to have a overhead protection for all Entrance and Back doors Ensure proper resealing & painting of all bottom surfaces at regular intervals or by conducting periodic inspectsions DO NOT hose or use cleaning agents/chemicals or any abrasives on your door. Use only Clean damp cloth to wipe the dust. OIL hinges lightly as a part of periodic maintenance
