Rylan Clark has gotten a matching Spice Girls tattoo with his makeup artist Bernice Cole. The latter posted the process on her Instagram Story and Rylan shared them all to his.

"This time last week..." Bernice wrote on her story alongside a photo of Rylan smiling at the camera at Electric Snake Tattoo in Billericay. She also posted a video of Rylan getting tattooed with a grimace on his face as she wrote "Took it like a champ."

Bernice also posted a photo of her own tattoo before revealing the two got matching ones: "Love them! Thank you so much for our cute matching tattoos." Bernice and Rylan both got delicate ankle tattoos with the text 'girl power' in cursive.

And Rylan confirmed the meaning behind the tattoos on BBC Radio Two last week: "This week I had a tattoo done. I have had a tattoo on my leg – 'girl power'. It’s real. It’s for the Spice Girls." The tattoo reveal comes after the end of the Big Brother star's marriage to Dan Neal. Rylan had his fans worried recently after posting an emotional Tweet during a night out with friends.

"Ever have a night out where you have a really good night with friends... However on the way home you sit and think, would much rather a night in with Netflix and someone you care about... yeah that babe," he wrote as fans rushed to his support. It wasn't the first time Rylan's had fans worried after his breakup as the star was hospitalised for his mental health following the split.

He told The Guardian in January: "I didn’t think I’d be here. I didn’t think I could continue. I didn’t think I’d actually come back. I was very… gone. I was having thoughts and doing things that made me… f**ked up, for want of a better word. I didn’t understand why I was doing that to myself. So, I went away for a bit.

"It’s really strange talking about this, because I’ve not even spoken about it to my friends. I just never thought I could get that ill. Strange situations do very strange things to people. If it wasn’t for my mum, and my family and close friends I genuinely have no idea if I’d be here."

Rylan and his ex-husband Dan met when Rylan hosted Big Brother's Bit On The Side and interviewed Dan as he left the house in the 2013 season of the show. They began dating soon after and were engaged in 2014. The couple got married in 2015 but parted ways in 2021. Rylan confirmed the split and said: ""I have made a number of mistakes which I deeply regret and have inevitably led to the breakdown of our marriage."
