Samsung Galaxy S10 has been my main phone for 3 years. It has not disappoint me at all. It still has one of the best display ever, a really good speaker, excellent build quality, still good camera and a good performance even when compared to the mid range in 2022. However, the battery life on this phone is so bad I need to carry an battery bank to sustain it.

Almost Better Than the S20/S21

The phone itself is very good; it's super fast, very comfortable, and has VERY good features. The only shortfall is the battery; it should have more capacity.

Pros

  • Unbeatable sound
  • Beautiful design
  • Comfortable to carry (size)
  • In-screen fingerprint sensor (does not break)
  • Dual sim
  • Sufficient storage
  • Android 11

Cons

  • Poor battery life
  • Lack of IR sensor for face unlock
  • Lack of iris recognition (the S9 had it...)

The performance is extremely good, thanks to its processor and its 8Gb of RAM, indeed it has a 60Hz screen, but it is still extremely responsive. The photo quality is extremely appropriate, of course compared to an S21 it is not as good, but it still remains an excellent photophone. POINT TO NEGLECT: The battery life of the S10 (not the S10+) is really average, you will need to have an external battery if you do not have a charging point throughout the day.For example, if you watch videos on YouTube in 1080p for about 4h15/30, you will drop from 100% to 15%.If it will serve you to call, send SMS, go on social networks, all the basic tasks that a phone can do, you will last without any problem during a day. If you are asking yourself the question of changing your S10 for a more recent one, know that it will still last you 2 years without problem given its power, and its camera which is still very suitable.

Pros

  • Power
  • Design
  • Camera remains very suitable

Cons

  • Battery life (learn to organize according to your needs)
