Background information

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active (model SM-G891A) was released in March of 2016 with the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge. The Active model can be distinguished from the other models by it's plastic edges that may appear to be a separate case at first. It is also much thicker than the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.

The Galaxy S7 Active has a shatter-resistant screen and a tough shell, making it much harder to break than the other S7 models.
