Float Data& Plots | Message | Description |
Engineering Diagnostics | 0xe0, 0xe2, 0xe3,0xe5, and 0xe6 | Float diagnostics primarily for the monitoring of float health. |
Buoyancy PumpDiagnostics | 0x6[0-f] | Buoyancy pump monitoring information as float ascends and descends. The first value is usually around 100dbar and indicates the pumping done to target the park depth. Seek periods may follow. From profile pressure to the surface, the float attempts to maintain a constant rate. |
GPS Reports | 0x00, 0x01,0x02, 0x03,and 0x05 | Position fixes returned by the float. First GPS fix occurs just after surfacing. Second GPS fix occurs just before leaving the surface. An estimate of the Iridium Position is also displayed. NOTE: the 2nd GPS fix is transmitted in the subsequent cycle, thus the most recent cycle will not have reported both positions. |
Quad Plot | 0x1[0-f],0x2[0-f],and 0x3[0-f] | Display of profile and trajectory information: |
Rise Data and Plot | 0x5[0-f] | Pressure-Time pairs taken periodically as the float measures its profile (from Park to max pressure, to surface) In the left panel, the data pairs are converted to vertical speed. Red dots are from the latest cycle. |
Fall Data and Plot | 0x4[0-f] | Pressure-Time pairs taken periodically as the float descends from the surface to its park pressure. A large temporal gap between the last few data points indiate a SEEK period. In the left panel the data pairs are converted to vertical speed. Red dots are from the latest cycle. |
Drift Plot | 0x9[8-f],0xa[8-f]0xb[8-f] | Pressure, Temperature, and Salinity measurements taken during the drift (park) phase. Red dots are from the latest cycle. |
ConfigurationParameters | 0xf0 | Often changed configuration parameters are reported by the float . Examples include parking and profile pressure, amongst others. |
DMQC Plot | Graphical Display of Delayed Mode Quality Control (DMQC) data |
Float Details | Text file of float configuration/hardware upon deployment |
Parameter Dump | 0xd[0,1,...x] | Text file of the float configuration parameter dumps |
