Self Temperature Compensation

Selecting the right self temperature compensation (STC) value helps reduce temperature sensitivity of the transducer by matching the strain gage sensor to the spring element material. In the part description N2K-XX-S5101N-50C/DG/E3 as an example, the "XX" represents the STC of the strain gage sensor. STC 06 is normally suggested for steel and STC 13 for aluminum.  STC isn't a major concern when prototyping, but be sure to select the appropriate value when you go into production.
