The Shimano PD-EH500 pedals have an SPD clip-in mechanism on one side and can be used like a platform pedal on the other. The binding features a light-action construction for easy clipping in and out. Whether in everyday life or on tour, you can rely on the PD-EH500 pedal.

  Technically, they are fine. The finish wears off surprisingly fast, leaving bare metal. But the main issue is just the concept itself. Sounds great on paper if you don't feel comfortable committing to clipless pedals and want a backup ready, but I just never used the flat side - not even on the first day.
