Jiang cheng could feel his anxieties creep up from behind.

"You can do it! Win this! Erm...Well, save us!"

He still remembers those ten words Wei Ying screamed meant to encourage but resulted in quite the opposite. Jiang cheng as previously stated before has a plan, which is not very well thought out. He wouldn't do this but he can't stand seeing those worried faces of his brother and nephew. He strode past the students through the halls and finally saw the older Lan.

There he was his smile still blinding, and clothes formal, and his personality still so gullible. How did fall so hard for such a popular idiot? He smiled and was conversing with some female teacher who blushed like crazy. Even he was able to have some more constant than her. 

Lan Xicheng saw the corporate boss coming to him so he quickly ended the conversation and when to him.

"Wanyin! How have you been?", he started his voice even starting to glow.

Alas, the boss didn't feel a bit of delight since he had to lie to him.

He answered in the least nervous voice as possible, "Not flirting with other people."

"Sorry. I didn't mean to make you jealous."

"I'm not jealous."

The taller man only smirked at the response he got. This is one of the reasons why Jiang cheng hasn't told anyone about what has been going on if he did he could only imagine the chaos coming from everyone; especially Lan Zhan.

Sadly, his moronic brother found out.

"I need your help...", Jiang cheng's voice trailed off not specifying what the actual concern is.

The older Lan and the heir for the company Lan Qiren would do anything to help the man standing in front of him.

Jiang cheng seemed hesitant then continued, "Do you know about what happened in the lecture hall?"

Lan Xicheng looked up trying to remember something then recalled, "Ah! You mean the trick?"

Trick...When you put it like that...

"Yes, um do you know what Lan Qiren plans to do about it?"

"Well, I do know he is very determined to find who caused that."

"Well, do you know how he plans to do that?"

"Not much. I just know that it involves Sizhui."

Jiang cheng could see a web, a web which his nephew and brother are caught in. 

Sizhui is directly connected to Jin Ling and Wei Wuxain, does he already know who did it? If he does then what does he plan to do?

"Any reason you might be asking this?", inquired the Lan who now was moving closer to him which forced the other to step back.

"No, I just felt bad for Jin Chan.", Jiang cheng snapped, turning his face to a scowl at the sudden movements.

Lan Xicheng lost the glow in his voice, "Wanyin, you haven't even asked about what would happen to him. I can help, you just have to let me."

Jiang Cheng sighed, he hated help from others but he always ended up needing it. The conversation he had with Wei Ying floated back.

"Isn't easier to just tell him?"

" I don't want to get him involved."

"Well, if he had a problem wouldn't you want to help him?"

"..."

"Help isn't something anyone likes but sometimes you need it. If you're at the edge of a cliff and had a broken arm then how do expect to pull yourself up with one hand?"

"But I'm not at the edge of a cliff!"

"Listen, I don't want you to clean up my mess but I don't have a choice right now do I? I'm letting you help me. So be grateful I'm not like you."

"Even if you were like me I'd still end up helping you."

"Exactly, so go get him!"

"You moron, I already got him!"

"Oh?"

"No! I didn't mean that way!"

"Then which way?"

"You...Shut up!"

"Nice grammar. "

"I'm way better than you."

"Anyway, the moral of the story. Don't be yourself."

"Wow. Thanks. I've never received such supportive advice."

"I know. Your lucky you have me as your older brother!"

"Older brother my ass."

Jiang cheng gathered up all his courage to not be himself and said, "I need your help."

Lan Xicheng looked stunned for a moment and smiled, "Anything."

"So, me, Wei Wuxain, and Jin Ling all kind of did that "trick" so you know I need your help. I know it's our fault and we really shouldn't have done that especially to Lan Qiren at such an old age but I couldn't help it. You don't know what that brat did to Jin Ling! Anyway, will you help me save my dumb brother and nephew?"

Lan Xicheng burst out laughing, wheezing he tried to say, "That was because of you?"

"No, my stupid brother."

"Mhm. Sure, I'll help you. But where do we start?"

"I think Lan Qiren already knows who it is so let's break into his office and see what we can find."

Jiang cheng decided to start his scheme after Lan Xiceng finished laughing for the second time.

Some say Jin Ling is a miniature Jiang cheng. They were wrong, if Jin Ling is just the heir to his JuiJui's company then he would practically be Jiang cheng junior. 

Then how did such alike people have such adverse ideas? 

Jin Ling knew his uncle for a long time. That plan would never work. 

Ok...so maybe I was eavesdropping...but that just means I have more things to improve on! Like when I do New Year Resolutions or whatever–

So Jin Ling supposedly followed his JuiJui talk to Jin Ling is most sus of? 

Lan Xicheng yes is a kind fellow, but is unusually attached to his JuiJui. This reminds everyone of Wei Wuxains case, Lan Zhan was obsessed with him and everyone decided to brush it off. Let's see how that turned out, shall we?

Lan Xicheng with his uncle...would be traumatic. It would just show how such powerful people from Yumeng crumbled to the likes of Lan. 

Which no, wasn't an insult since Sizhui is Jin Ling's boyfriend but that's exactly why the Lans are so dangerous.

Jin Ling personally thinks that Lans cover their sharp, cunning ways with their 2500+ rules. Or they restrict their sly personalities with them. They say experience forms opinions, well that opinion was created by Jin Ling being with Sizhui. 

Jin Ling did once think maybe Xicheng wouldn't be as bad but then he discerned something. Jiang Cheng was the one who would be the hardest to tear down out of the others. Jin Ling would lose all sense of his security with his Juijui's could-should be-maybe boyfriend being able to play with him whenever he wanted to. 

Look at how Wei Ying has turned now, look at Jin Ling! 

Jin Ling could only feel sympathy. 

Jin Ling grumbled on his pillow in Sizhui's room as a familiar figure entered.

"Oh, A-Ling.", Sizhui opened the door and shoved his heavy bag onto the chair close to the door. 

Jin Ling didn't want to be meddlesome but he couldn't prevent the blunt question he asked, "So, are you in trouble?"

Sizhui sat at the side of his bed, "Why would you think that?"

"I was curious why Lan Qiren called you after no one confessed to what they did.", he admitted.

"I wanted me to investigate who did it.", he hummed. 

Jin Ling could feel a sharp pain come through him, like a sword pierced through him. He wasn't scared of what would happen but what would happen to his uncles.

Jin Ling tried his best to act like isn't the one who pranked Jin Chan and inquired, "So do you have any suspects or evidence?"

"Interested are we?", he teased which caused Jin Ling to mush his face into his boyfriend's pillow again.

"Sorry, sorry!", he comforted.

"So? I like mystery novels.", Jin Ling retorted.

Which was a lie since he doesn't like reading.

"Well, I have no suspects,

Jin Ling could feel his heart stop slamming against his rib cage.

but I do have some evidence."

"W-what?", the younger stuttered out.

"Judging from how the video couldn't be turned off, it was hacked. I know it wasn't anyone that we don't know since they were able to figure out his password and the person was using the school's wifi. No one from outside could have come in since his building is protected by the guards and if they did then the guards would still stop them to at least know their name."

Jin Ling is amazed, "So you got all that by investigating for two hours?"

"No I didn't start yet, Lan Qiren told me to start first thing tomorrow. I figured this all out by watching the video in the lecture hall with you. "

Jin Ling is stunned, "You're marvellous."

Sizhui kissed him, "Thanks, and you're cute."

Jin Ling wrapped his arms around the neck of his boyfriend and he gladly accepted and kissed him rougher than before.

Jin Ling knew that Xicheng could be helping his uncle since he previously saw him enter Lan Qiren's office (ignoring the fact that his JuiJui was there too). He had to do this himself. 

And when he said himself he means is his ingenious friends of course. They might seem dumb but they have pulled a lot of things and gotten away with it. Despite this situation, this isn't Jin Ling's first time pulling a prank, especially against Jin Chan. It was just his first time pulling one of this scale.

Whenever or whatever happened they were always there for him, including Sizhui. 

What would happen if he asked to go against Sizhui?

He knew his friends would help although he didn't know-how. 

But they always come up with something so stupid that it works.

Anyway I hoped you like this chapter I guess I was a day late, I apologize my homework was crushing me. Especially math, I mean who does algebra with tiles anymore? ( ʘᗩʘ ')

*cough* anyway, I'm wondering should I start with Jiang cheng's perspective first or Jin Ling cuz eventually their pov's are going to intervene.
