Hi Designers,

After more than a decade of teaching SketchUp to interior designers, I’ve made the difficult decision to discontinue my courses in 2026. If you’ve been considering learning SketchUp with me, now is the best time to hop in before they are gone forever.

Here are a few key dates, all in 2026:

February 13: Course sales end, and carts are closed.February 13–April 17: Courses available to download.April 17: Course support closes.

A few additional notes:

• I’ve extended the fall sale; all courses are still 40% off with the code FALL40

• If you purchase before January 1, you may be able to treat the purchase as a 2025 business expense (check with your tax professional).

• You’ll have permanent access to the courses.

Starting on February 13, the first lesson of each course will include a download link so that you can keep your syllabus and courses long-term. I’ll send plenty of reminders with simple, step-by-step instructions once downloads are available.A few questions you may have:

Why are you discontinuing the courses?In short… burnout. Many of you know I started a mini-sabbatical this fall. Three months in, it’s clear that I don’t have the bandwidth to keep up with the software updates, extensions, and AI advancements. I’m ready to make space for what’s next. I’ve also really enjoyed the extra time and brain space to be available to my boys, who are 15 and 16.

Will your website stay up?SketchUpforInteriorDesigners.com will remain live to display those who have been certified. However, both the community and course access will go offline after April 17.

What are you doing next?Honestly, I’m not sure yet. My goal is to spend less time at the computer and stop working seven days a week. :) Those of you who run your own businesses know what I mean!I’ve made so many wonderful friends in this community. I’ll miss seeing your faces during Office Hours, Zoom calls, and hearing from you via email. If you want to keep up with me, I post regularly on my Instagram account @tammycody.
