Originally posted by gamester494:Ok cheers, and what is so important about reputation?Reputation influences the people around you, so if you're really hated people wont want to allow you to hire men from them and so on and so forth, but in saying that you can intimidate them. I haven't experienced being loved by everyone yet because I raid and pillage every village I see and the christians ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate me. I assume if you're loved by everyone, you can get stuff cheaper and people will allow you to hire from them no problemo. #3

Originally posted by gamester494:I have hard time recruiting people from scandavian countries any tips?Make freinds with the Jarls of the place you want to recruit from and request that they allow you to recruit from their lands. I think your renown factors in aswell, alternatively you can just help out the elders/town leaders and they will allow you to do the same aswell. #8
