Robert April 4, 2024 at 05:18 PM To be honest, they are good in their own way. The Snapdragon 765g are good in terms of daily use and efficiency. It's a newer chip so these are the priorities of newer midranges. I have the Pixel 3 (SD845) and 5 (SD765g) and the 5 feels faster in regular use (though the 8GB does help A LOT). T he battery is amazing and the phone rarely heats up. The part where the Snapdragon 845 wins is gaming. Mainly because it is a flagship processor that puts more focus on raw power and GPU power (as you can tell based on Antutu test). In gaming, the frame rates are higher in the Pixel 3 and video/photo processing is faster. Overall, the newer midrange chip is better for most people. +11 Reply
Ronaldo SUUIII December 7, 2022 at 07:39 PM I have a Samsung s9+ and LG velvet 5g the LG gets way better battery life probably because it's newer with less battery degradation. the LG also doesn't get hot even under load. the S9+ could run games at medium 60fps but the LG can only do 30 for some reason. the benchmarks say the LG should be better... In pixel gun 3d and PUBG, the S9+ can run both at 60fps (smooth and extreme fps for PUBG). but the LG can only do 45 fps on PUBG and has frequent frame drops from 60 on Pixel Gun 3d... the benchmarks don't show the whole picture i guess +19 Reply
Results45 May 24, 2022 at 07:17 AM The 845 marked the period in smartphone history when the 3.5mm audio jack started to die when Apple released the iPhone 8 (after the jack's first disappearance in the iPhone 7) without it that same fall in 2017. The 845 is also best remembered for powering the Pocophone F1 which not only included a headphone jack but was objectively the "flagship killer of the year". The 765G on the other hand will likely be remembered for powering the last Pixel phone ~ the 5a ~ with a headphone jack -- if Google decides not to not to ever include it in their phones again. Both are awesome SoCs that perform very comparably with the 765G sporting more up-to-date I/O and better energy efficiency. +23 Reply Name Message Send Send Comparisons
