Researcher May 11, 2025 at 07:39 AM When it comes to raw Performance it's Sd855 If you want efficient Battery and Balance performance it's SD 778g Question why is 855 called flagship than 778g? A: the answer of that is my first sentence now Shuu Shuu Sd778g fans +2 Reply
Nahidul Islam Bhuyian May 18, 2024 at 01:45 PM The main catch is on display resolution. If you lower the resolution of the display, you will get better performance. This has been done with SD 855. SD778 was tested in higher resolution than SD855. (Device Display Resolution) +14 Reply
GregSpegal April 10, 2024 at 01:07 AM I don't know about gaming but I do know that I get hella great performance in my a52s with the sd 778 soc +29 Reply
EMDEE March 10, 2024 at 03:52 PM This test is not accurate. The 855 performs better in gaming and has superior GPU raw performance. +29 Reply

Ibrahim December 22, 2025 at 01:14 PM Still The Snapdragon 778g is way more optimized for Gaming even if Snapdragon 855 has superior GPU it fall short in Gaming and Thermals 0 Reply
Rs2 December 25, 2021 at 02:05 PM The Snapdragon 778g It's basically The same Snapdragon 855 but lowed It down to be midrange Soc +280 Reply
Gnus September 13, 2022 at 07:26 AM What? The are vastly different, they are not even using the same cores (A76 vs A78), they literally have nothing in common. +100 Reply
Marcos October 16, 2023 at 06:13 PM Gnus, Their performances are similar, even though they are from different generations. That's probably what he or she meant. +16 Reply
anon November 5, 2023 at 02:45 AM Marcos, He/She says it was the same but slowed down. I believe that if 778 had the same clocked CPU, it would be much faster than 855. They are just totally different in every aspect. +40 Reply
Yacine October 12, 2024 at 05:16 PM anon, Yes, you're right, but the CPU frequency has a good ratio like 2.84, which is better in performance. And Adreno 642L, which means L is low for device consumption, is good. My phone, an A90, performs high with SD 855 and can play PUBG on max settings, but it gets quite hot, like my CPU gets up to 78°C. Yet, even with that heat, I can keep playing until my CPU reaches 80°C, at which point the game exits. What I mean is that the SD778G can play at a more comfortable temperature, better than the 855. However, if you have a cooler or play in the cold, the 855 could be better. I believe both will give you good performance. +3 Reply Name Message Send Send Comparisons
