Dec 10, 2014 70 0 10,630 Hi. I have a Antec NX200 Mid Tower case MSI B450 Tomahawk Max motherboard, Ryzen 5 3600 (stock fan) Gigabyte RX 5700 XT OC Ed. 8GB. Basically, the temps on my motherboard and GPU are cool, with motherboard being at around 45-55 max under load, and GPU maxing at 75-80C. But, since I have the stock cooler on the 3600, my idle temps stay at around 45-52, chrome browsing at around 50-55. When playing games, however, even with the side panel open, undervolted by 0.1V, and Precision Boost turned off, the 3600 goes upto 80-88 while gaming. I live in India, so the temperatures and humid levels get pretty wild in the summers. I have 3 case fans total, one stock fan on the front panel maxing at around 850-1000 rpm, a top fan maxing 2000 RPM, both intake, and an exhaust fan maxing 1400 RPM. My questions are: Should I get the Noctua NH-L9x65 SE-AM4 Cooler? Will it better the temps by a decent amount? If not, what other fan would you recommend? and Should I add in another fan and perhaps also replace the stock fan (maxing 900RPM or so) with a decent fan as well. Solution

I live in india too that is Chennai, my ambient temperature goes 29 - 31 in summer, so the stock did 55 - 60 idle and reaches 85+ is games like Call of duty warzone, these temperatures are well below the rated 95 deg, and stock cooler tend to run hot especially the wraith stealth cooler, But for CPU life its better we invest in a tower air cooler or a liquid cooler. After installing Antec A400 which i got it for 2500inr, now my idle maintains at 43 - 45 idle and 75 max in gaming, the idle lowers even further when my ac is on with my room temperature going as low as 23 - 25 it does 35 idle, so point is our ambient temperature is high when compared to people who live in europe, UK, US, So cpu temperatures are influenced by ambient temperature also. So use a proper tower air cooler for 40s idle temperature, and if you want mid or low 30s use a liquid cooler unless you are overclocking it. Upvote 0 Downvote Solution coolraveen

Plus if possible install two 120mm fans at the front for a better air flow. and since your antec cabinet is not meshed at front that wont aid well in cooling but thats a minor issue. so the idea is two front fans sucks air from front and it pushed out at the rear by the single rear fan.
