Did you get the RC6 with the PC new or are you attempting to add it. ? HP MEDIA Center rc6 remote, control, way post and not say OS,?" is this XP, VISTA or W7? ??????????????????????????????????????? and did you ever upgrade the OS or replace the HDD.? all history matters. we can't see what you have ! so..... tell it. please. there are 6 drivers is way,,, ( or just 2) 1 for XP and 1 for vista /w7 try a new battery? in it, be like first. think.always. the drivers are NOT on the internet they are at HP, its 100% custom HP hardware here.!!! you are not asking at HP, why? this is fixya , has zero to do with HP ever. ever go to hp support forum and ask. be wise no? HP real https://support.hp.com/us-en now all your drivers for that PC. one post says Try installing the "ENE CIR driver" on the link below. the hp support page has no driver there, for this feature. its an error that. or Im on the wrong page.(easy lacking full service tag data) HP puts most of these drivers under Keyboard, Mouse and Input Devices SP41705.exe supports below (note the secret FTP links) ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp41501-42000/sp41705.exe Windows 7 (32-bit) Windows 7 (64-bit) Windows Vista (32-bit) Windows Vista (64-bit) MY wild guess is this PC is a media center edition????? there is no MCE, page at HP for this exact PC, only generic. and no such file listed there. thus HP, FTP links to lost files. endless hits on this missing RC6 driver, here. mostly do to owners changing the OS and not loading the HP drivers off your HP driver page. https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/forums/searchpage/tab/message?advanced=false&allow_punctuation=false&q=++ENE+CIR+driver+

What did they say the driver was needed for. Aren't you just using the vga output of the PC to feed the video signal to the projector. No driver is needed for this

SOURCE: Fn (function) key not working

A good check of whether the Fn key is working is to display the system information as follows... 1. briefly press Fn key, and then briefly press the Esc key or alternatively... 2. Press and hold down the Fn key, briefly press the Esc key, and then release both at the same time. This should display the version of the system BIOS as the BIOS date or system ROM version number. If this doesn't happen, then either one or both Fn and Esc keys are not working. In any case since your laptop is new, it should be covered by a 30-day exchange policy from the place of purchase and you should just take it back for an exchange. If you can't get it exchanged and the purchase was on your credit card, you should have purchase coverage from the credit card company as well.

The slot is in the front of the laptop right next to the button to open the laptop. Once you insert the card it should be recognized in windows and you can access it through My Computer.

Try downloading the installing the webcam drivers from HP website.Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "HPSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Download and install the Webcam drivers.
