L Liz Burden Posted on Sep 22, 2017 Answered ,My vy commodore has locking issues. sometimes I am unable to unlock all passenger doors ,drivers side is ok. Ok each morning then if I lock the car again ,it is unable to unlock until the morning.

i also have a MK5 golf tdi with cental locking problem the drivers door wont open from the fob but all the other doors will, i taken the car to a garage last week when it was pluged in to the computer it showed errors they cleared them it sem't to solve the problem now its started again ?

I had the same problem in my wife's 2003 Yukon Denali. The power seats and passengers side window wouldn't work. Turned out to be a blown Buss Type fuse in the Underhood Fuse Block. It is the one marked MBEC 1 50amp. Hard to tell if the are blown so look very carefully. Should look like a hoop with two shiny solderlooking bubbles on either side. On my blown fuse, it caught my attention because it looked like the solder was missing and I had to look very closely to see the bottom of the "hoop" was open. They are very hard to remove and must be pulled straight up. This type of fuse looks like a red square with a clear plastic top showing the fuse link under the plastic. On my vehicle it is on the top row second one from the left.

Hey guys , i got one that i think i know whats wrong but i want to check with others to see, ok so here it is my lock switch on the drivers side only unlocks the doors it does not lock but all the other lock switches in the car fully work so im thinkin maybe its the driver side door lock switch. This is a common problem with this model. If you access the wires in the boot between the door you will find a broken wire about an inch from the connector. Hope this helps!!

Which is it, 98 Eclipse, or 06 Impala? Either way, your door lock actuator is stuck in the locked position either electrically or mechaically. The way to check this is to remove the door panel and unplug the actuator. If door lock can now be moved then you have an electrical problem (faulty door lock switch or faulty door lock module). If you still cannot unlock door then actuator is mechanically bad and must be replace (usually the case)

Aside from the fuses, your drive side power door lock may be failing to work because of a bad door-lock relay system, or, alternatively, the locking switch/button, itself, is not malfunctioning and in need of replacement.
