Aug 16, 2020 4 0 4,510 Hello all, Just been looking at the Samsung odyssey g5 27in and 32in but debating which one I should get, just wanting to get into some 1440p gaming and found these two on sale for $100 off with only a $50 difference between them after and was just wondering if there is any major difference between 27in and 32in for gaming at 1440p? Thanks all for help input:) https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX00114402 https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX00114400 Or any other suggestions anyone may have :) just looking for someonthing not too crazy expensive somewhere around $400-$600 preferably lower haha Last edited: Mar 14, 2021 Solution Correct monitor size depends from distance between your eyes and monitor screen. 27" is just fine in distance up to 1m. 32" ultrawide will cover FOV in games and movies completely, but is not very pleasant for work because it is not possible to see all screen in whole (or in larger distance - recognize small things on screen). Also keep in mind that on 32" 16:9 screen with 1440p resolution pixels already become visible. Someone find it very unpleasant. So choose what you want more - smaller screen or visible pixels :) Sort by date Sort by votes Dj0gany

Depends from person to person and distance from screen. I can distinguish pixels on large low resolution screens. And for monitor which I use for both work and gaming I found visible pixels unpleasant. Only for gaming slightly visible pixels aren't so bad, yes. Upvote 0 Downvote S
