Hi there,The upgrade file theC64-1_1_2.bin is not found in my TheC64Mini. What now?I have put it in USB-stick 8GB, FAT32 in root (no folder etc.)

I just dropped it on my usb stick I had my games on … detected and upgraded no problem. Try re downloading and have another go

Thanks, but there is another issue: i put THEC64-drive8.d64 in same USB stick, no loading from BASIC. Idea?

Reformat it (fat32!), or use other usb stick /sd card.edit: you are aware of Windows nasty habit of hiding "known extensions", do you? There is also reversed process: Sometimes when you save/rename e.g. "something.d64", Windows make of it "something.d64.d64".Just disable hiding of known extensions (not just because of Mini).

well I don't think " THEC64-drive8.d64 " is used anymore.No need now ...As crispin says ...Reformat and try again

THEC64-drive8.d64 is normal formatted in .d64 (no .d81 etc.)theC64-1_1_2.bin is downloaded and putted in root (no folder etc.) in FAT32-formatted usb-stick.I've reformatted it. No luck![UPDATE] I have own old USB-stick, used for my theC64mini, what months ago... It can read succesfully, and i put upgrade-file in same stick, and it works succesfully.Just, i think my other sticks are bricked or mis-formatted.---- SOLVED ----

Just wanted to confirm if you formatted the usb stick as Fat32+MBR?If the MBR is missing, the c64 mini has probs reading it.More info about formatting with MBR here:gurce.net/c64mini/correctly_formatting_your_usb_sticks

I always use Mini Tools Partition Wizard to format my sd cards it's here.. ,yes I use a sd card in mine and a USB sd card reader.

GParted, exclusively for a year now. I'm avoiding everything related to Windoze, now for years. I bought Win10 Pro few years ago, now I didn't turn that PC for months. Hate those updates, crippleware etc.

I reformat it, but GPT won't away.I kept forcing format all (eg. SD Card format) and now it contains one paration FAT32. It can be working for THEC64Mini.Thanks for tip, qurce!
