SOURCE: cigarette lighter on 98 jetta doesn't work

yes: there is a 15 amp fuse for it located above the relays in the drivers side of the car.. I found it was the top one of the 3 fuses. it is almost impossible to see theses unless you remove the bottom section of the dash under the stering column.

Many cig lighters have inline fuses. The fuse is part of the wire going from the lighter to the power source. It typically looks like a small white tube and can be opened by gently twisting and the pulling apart. Before you do that are you sure its' the fuse? The coil in lighters frequently burn out. Try a lighter from a similar car or plug in a cell phone charger to see if your getting power to the lighter housing. If you have power you can get a replacement lighter at most auto parts stores for a couple of bucks.

you might find the fuse diagram on the inside of the fuse box cover under the hood.....hope this helps.....cheers

SOURCE: where is the fuse for the cigarette lighter on a

fuses shud be located on the side of the motor its nice size boxs it shud pop off an then once u took the top off see all the fuses now the top u took off has wat fuse is for wat under neth it.
