5x + 2y = 7xy

10x + 3y = 8xy

Calculation:

5x + 2y = 7xy ----(1)

10x + 3y = 8xy ----(2)

Multiply equation 1 by 2 and subtract equation 2 from it, we get

⇒ y = 6xy

⇒ x = 1/6

Now, from equation 1:

⇒ 5/6 + 2y = 7y/6

⇒ 5y/6 = -5/6

⇒ y = -1

∴ \(\left( {\frac{1}{6},\; - 1} \right)\) is the required point.
