Sony Ericsson G705 is a quite basic cellphone launched some years ago, in 2008, having a 3.2 MP back side camera and a small 2.4" display. That's all? No, it's only the introduction of a much deeper review.

This phone counts with a mediocre 122,88 MB internal storage, which may be adequate for basic users considering that it also has an external SD slot to store songs, photographs and videos.

This phone is a bit thick compared to today's cellphones, being as thick as 0.56 inches. This cellphone is 3.74 inches long and 1.85" wide, it just packs a way smaller 2.4 inches display. Sony didn't put much effort to reduce weight in this 3.46 oz device, much heavier than other similar phones.

This cellphone is equipped with a interesting 320 x 240 (QVGA) 2.4-inches display, providing this phone with a decent graphic quality.

This cellphone offers wi-fi connectivity (although it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a router or modem) and 3G fast connectivity, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Sony Ericsson G705 works with a SIM card for GSM carriers.

This phone is only equipped with a 3.2 mega-pixels back side camera. This cellphone also captures videos in 320x240 (QVGA) at 15 fps. Additionally, the camera counts with geo tagging and flash.

This cellphone also features a couple nice characteristics as Bluetooth (2.0, EDR) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and Accelerometer.

The Sony Ericsson G705 packs a 950 mAh small capacity Li-Polymer battery that can keep it running for some hours, although you will need to charge it even after moderate usage. Sony informs a talk time of 10 hs and a stand by time of 400 hs for this cellphone.

This phone is being sold for about 269 dollars, which is not cheap for this kind of phone.
