Sony G-Series 440MB/s XQD 64GB Memory Card

Introduction

Sony's updated G-Series XQD cards now feature 440MB/s read and 400 MB/s write speeds. Previous cards offered up to 400 MB/s read and 350 MB/s write speeds. The new cards offer improved performance in Nikon D5 and D500 DSLR cameras. Sony G-Series XQD cards are available in 32, 64 and 128GB capacities. Performance

Read and write speeds were evaluated in various USB 3.0 card readers. In the Sony XQD USB Adapter it benchmarked at 356.3 MB/s read and 221.8 MB/s write using ATTO disk benchmark. Results using CrystalDiskMark are shown in the table below. The read and write speeds are limited by the card reader.
