Sororities - Florida Gulf Coast University

The Panhellenic Primary Recruitment process gives unaffiliated women the opportunity to meet the seven Panhellenic sororities and consider their options for membership. This process takes places over multiple days with the opportunity for multiple rounds during each day. This is a mutually selective process, which means that as potential new members rank sororities, sororities will rank potential new members and invitations will be based on matching rankings. Invitations and a bid at the conclusion of the process are not guaranteed.

Fall 2025 Formal Recruitment Dates:

• Thursday, May 1, 2025 - Formal Recruitment Registration opens
• Sunday, August 3, 2025 - Formal Recruitment Registration closes
• Wednesday, August 13, 2025 - Early Move In (Campus Housing Only) for Recruitment and PNM Orientation
  • Students living in FGCU housing will be able to move in on the morning of Wednesday, August 13 in order to participate in the Panhellenic Recruitment Process. The move in schedule is as follows by last name (students must be registered for Panhellenic Recruitment prior to the registration deadline in order to move in early):
    • A-F, 8-9:00 AM
    • G-O, 9-10:00 AM
    • P-Z, 10-11:00 AM
• Thursday, August 14, 2025 - Sisterhood Round
• Friday, August 15, 2025 - Philanthropy Round
• Saturday, August 16, 2025 - Preference Round
• Sunday, August 17, 2025 - Bid Day
• Monday, August 18, 2025 - First Day of Classes
