What could have been
A purchase the cassette after a length search for a one that I can use on my mountain bike ram, Only to find one brand new after I already purchased this used one. Not only one but a few new cassettes started popping up. I don’t know how the search engine works or if it’s rigged to sell the old before the new but it kind of had me twisted on why I couldn’t find a new one when I search for one.

Good value for getting a wide range 1x setup
Very good price for making the conversion to a wide range caseette. This is a 10-42, so you also need a XD freewheel driver to make this work for your ride. Weight is a little on the heavy side, but the price sure is right, and it looks very good in the black as well. Great product!

XD drive system makes this cassette hard to find and expensive.
Hard to find cassettes that fit XD drive system, so cost is high for a only a fair quality part. A decent idea that didn't catch on very well (XD drive), so it has become almost proprietary and hard to find, and SRAM seems to be the only one making cassettes. But the cassette works about the same as any other mid-level cassette.

11 speed parts are expensive, this is a good compromise.
This is $50 less than the next higher level, only a few grams more. Shifts the same, fits the same, for a part that should be replaced more often than it usually is. Make sure to get a new chain for best life of this part! Very good deal.
