Suntory PepsiCo is looking for a talented candidate for Senior Accountant – Tax position

Location: 88 Dong Khoi Street, District 1, HCM

Time: Monday – Friday

ROLE:

This position is responsible for supporting line manager

(i) with necessary works for month-close for compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (“VAS”), internal policies on financial reporting, treasury and other internal control requirements;

(ii) in preparation of tax reports for tax compliance purposes.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Main in-charge for preparation of tax reports including monthly (VAT, Irregular PIT, FCT, NRT, etc.- except for CIT), invoice usage report;
• Be responsible for e-tax payments nationwide;
• Be responsible for tax data/document retention at HO level.
• Be contact point with local tax authorities for tax payment reconciliation and in some routine/simple tax issues;
• Co-operation with team members on yearly Tax finalization (PIT, CIT, …) and Tax projects where required;
• Be the contact point for all supporting needs related to tax invoices;
• Responsible for GL journal related to taxes allocation, internal transfer at month-end closing;
• Provide support to team members in HO and other location accountants to enhance tax efficiency, effectiveness and compliance;
• Support manager with works in relation to car insurance;
• Other tasks assigned by line manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BA degree in tax accounting/ accounting/ finance/ auditing; CPA Australia/ ACCA (UK) is preferred;
• Minimum 3-year-tax experience in FMCG/ Big4 companies;
• Good knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns;
• Hardworking, detail-oriented, good logic and commercial mindset; good project management skills and influence skills.
• Fluent English speaking & writing skills;
• Ability to work independently and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision
