Save the Children and The TJX Companies, Inc.

Since 1984, TJ Maxx has partnered with Save the Children to improve the lives of hundreds of thousands of children and families in need. TJ Maxx has been a longtime supporter of Save the Children’s literacy efforts in the U.S, and TJ Maxx is proud to continue their supporting programs to help children in rural America.

Our relationship first began with TJ Maxx’s sponsorship of children who participate in Save the Children’s national education programs in the U.S. Over the years, the partnership has grown to include an annual in-store fundraising campaign, sales of branded merchandise, and an investment in our global breakthroughs for children. This year marks 40 years of partnership, together TJ Maxx and Save the Children are a powerful force for children— Achieving increased visibility, supporting communities, and uniting employees around engagement opportunities in corporate philanthropy.

T.J.Maxx and Save the Children: Cause-Related Marketing

The TJ Maxx and Save the Children partnership involves a nationwide, annual, in-store fundraising promotion at the end of summer, as well as the sale of branded reusable bags throughout the year and a portion of sales supports Save the Children’s programs. By leveraging TJ Maxx’s store network, passionate associates and generous customers, the company has raised millions of dollars to fund early learning, literacy and health programs for children in need.

*All profits from each bag sold at T.J.Maxx will be donated to Save the Children ($.33per bag). 

T.J.Maxx and Save the Children: Investing Globally

TJX recently expanded its commitment to Save the Children with a global grant in support of our mission to give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. This investment allows Save the Children to effect change more broadly, addressing some of the most pressing issues facing today’s most vulnerable children. It also presents an opportunity for TJX associates and leaders worldwide to engage locally with Save the Children and amplifies TJX’s commitment to communities.
