This page will help you to learn Tang Soo Do Form 3 (Hyung) – Ki Cho Sam Bu. This is usually the third form (hyung) taught to Tang Soo Do students. Written Instructions Tang Soo Do Form 3 (or Ki Cho Sam Bu Hyung)

  • Ready Stance.
  • Turn to the left 90 degrees and left arm Side Block. Fighting Stance.
  • Straighten blocking arm, step forward and Middle Punch. Front Stance.
  • Turn 180 degrees to the right and right arm Side Block. Fighting Stance.
  • Straighten blocking arm, step forward and Middle Punch. Front Stance.
  • Turn 90 degrees to the left and do a left arm Low Block. Front Stance.
  • Raise blocking arm parallel with floor, step forward while turning 90 degrees left and Middle Side Punch. Look down the arm. Horse-riding stance.
  • Step in the direction of the punching arm, turn right 180 degrees and Middle Side Punch. Horse-riding stance.
  • Step in the direction of the punching arm, turn left 180 degrees and Middle Side Punch. Horse-riding stance. Ki-yup.
  • Turn 180 degrees to the left and one arm Side Block. Fighting Stance.
  • Straighten blocking arm, step forward and Middle Punch. Front Stance.
  • Turn 180 degrees to the right and one arm Side Block. Fighting Stance.
  • Straighten blocking arm, step forward and Middle Punch. Front Stance.
  • Turn 90 degrees to the left and Low Block. Front Stance.
  • Raise blocking arm parallel with floor, step forward while turning 90 degrees left and Middle Side Punch, look down the arm. Horse-riding stance.
  • Step in the direction of the punching arm, turning right 180 degrees and Middle Side Punch. Horse-riding stance.
  • Step in the direction of the punching arm, turn left 180 degrees and Middle Side Punch. Horse-riding stance. Ki-yup.
  • Turn 180 degrees to the left and one arm Side Block. Fighting Stance.
  • Straighten blocking arm, step forward and Middle Punch. Front Stance.
  • Turn 180 degrees to the right and one arm Side Block. Fighting Stance.
  • Straighten blocking arm, step forward and Middle Punch. Front Stance.
  • Return to Ready Stance.
