tmozer T On a recent long drive (on I-95) I noticed that a warning light had appeared on my 2010 Terrain display. It was a tire icon with a slash through it and the letters "TC". It remained on until I shut down the vehicle at a rest stop and did not reappear when I continued my drive. It has not appeared since. The pavement at the time was dry (and far from freezing). I been meaning to check the OM, but keep forgetting. I figured I'd ask here as to why it might have come on and if it is something I should tell the service department about?? #1 · Apr 19, 2011 On a recent long drive (on I-95) I noticed that a warning light had appeared on my 2010 Terrain display. It will default to on with the next time you start the vehicle. #3 · Apr 19, 2011 Please read this Thread... http://www.equinoxforum.net/index.php?topic=2626.0 While it discusses a DIC warning...you should still know about it just in case #4 · Apr 19, 2011

Well my Pug was the only passenger and might well have hit the button (I was looking for a button and did not think to look there). Thanks. #7 · May 19, 2023 Thank you dishdude you just saved my butt. I had no idea that that button was behind the cup holders. 0 Reply #5 · Apr 19, 2011 I'll bet you that's it. My dog did the same thing. #6 · Apr 19, 2011

I am also showing that this symbol means that the traction control is turned off. You can press and release this button that is located on the console as mentioned above. It illuminates and the appropriate DIC message displays. You can find more information on page 1-23 of your owner’s manual. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact me. Thank you.
