Picture quality much better than my 4 year old Sony. Smart features very easy to use. Bluetooth remote (tv comes with 2 remotes) works perfectly. Could do with another 2 HDMI and another 2 USB connections. I purchased this tv as a bedroom tv and am quite happy with the picture quality and functions. For $700 it's definitely worth it. Obviously if you start buying LG, Sony's etc, you will get a better product but you also have to spend double the money on a like to like same year release tv. Would I have a TCL as a main tv? Unbeatable for the price !

So far so good. Very good value TV

This TV looks very handsome with thin metal bezels all around, fit and finish feels good as well, nice metal stands. Picture quality for me personally is day and night better upgrading from 10 years old Sony LCD Bravia, definitely not top panels but I only use TV casually so to my untrained eyes it looks very very good. I feel colour was a little bit saturated and contrasty out of the box but a quick adjustment in settings fixed that issue. Few things to note, from my research I was under the impression that the 50 inch model comes with 2 remotes but this is not the case you only get the standard IR remote, there is also only one position for the TV stands at the far edge of both sides unlike the 55 and 65 inch model on which the stands can sit further inwards. AVOID TCL!!

Avoid all TCL products. Brought this tv October 2020 and had noting but issues with it. I had to put in a claim for warranty a few month ago and still TCL have not replaced my faulty tv!There call centre overseas is shocking and they keep lying to me and make promises they can't keep in regards to fixing it. Its been 2 months now and still nothing!

y to transport the TV back and then when i informed them that this is a breach under consumer law here and they are RESPONSIBLE for the cost and transport of the faulty tv for warranty repair or replacement they hung up on me! Do yourself a favour and AVOID ALL TCL Products and save yourself the hassles dealing with them! In the process of the matter being taken up by Consumer affairs due to warranty law breaches by TCL! Do not buy this tv

Do not buy this tv if you want to watch free to air tv or standard streaming definition in Australia.The picture is granulated and blurry.I had a 10 Year old Samsung tv and was told by the salesman that the new generation television would give an even better picture quality.The Samsung was clear with a defined image, far superior to the TCL.Spent over a week with TCL customer service and sent them a video showing purple halo's around people and blurred pictures with them telling me that the picture quality is as good as I am going to get.This television is complete rubbish - do not buy.  Show details Janma 18 posts 4y  65C715VoteMore

Not happy

Unit constantly has sound and vision at different rates, changing it in setting does nothing.Vision is blurry on startup and on a new channel and on Freeview, seems to need to adjust to a changed setting.Audio - I have to go into settings and move the speaker volume up and down, different channel, different setting. Very annoying.I cannot record unless I am watching the show (this is NOT an advance in technology) unlike the old vcr's.I haven't tried watching a DVD yet, what I have had to do is stressful enough. A very good Android TV on the budget !

Very easy to set up, loads of features as expected from an Android TV. The bonus here is the Qled with HDR10 and surprisingly the sound. I have a soundbar for movies but, I really do not need it for day to day news and HD Tv... The speakers and sound set up are not bad at all. Once you set and customize the tv and get comfortable with it, you will see the massive difference between a Smart TV and an Android TV. Manufacture's Warranty 3 years is a non-brainer... But, if you watch channels that still have not gone HD, it's not the crispier TV. Which will not be an issue within 12 months.... as most channels are going HD anyway. To sum up it all..... Very bad tv for gaming !

I purchased a 50 inch QLEDTV from TCL initially the picture didn’t look too bad once I turn the Xbox on it went downhill from there I have to go in an out of the menu then the picture changes its to bright or two dark there is no in between . I contacted TCL and told them about the problem they asked me for pictures and videos which I sent to TCL some of the pictures you could see how bright the picture is and then in some of the videos you could see that as soon as I swap between the menu the picture adjusted itself b... very good but limited picture otpions

got this tv purely for streaming and gaming,so using it only in full hd or 4K mode and it does a great job.can't say anything about normal tv viewing but at this price i would not expect the best picture also due to needed upscaling.supports both Dolby vision and hdr 10+ and looks very crisp on both.android a bit slow at times.all in all very happy at the price of 1039$,tnx buy smarte Show detailsBuild QualityValue for MoneySee top rated 4K Ultra HD TVs
