Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao HYDERABAD: On the day Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Hyderabad to participate in the BJP's national executive meeting, TRS president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao attacked the PM accusing him of stifling democracy and federal spirit in the country by bringing down democratically elected governments.KCR alleged that the PM was using central agencies like the CBI and ED against opposition parties' leaders and harassing non-BJP governments.Challenging the BJP to topple his government, KCR warned that he won't hesitate to topple the BJP government at the Centre."Maharashtra is the fourth state where the BJP has toppled a government. One Union minister says even the TRS government in the state will be toppled. Let's see. We have a strength of 103 out of 119 assembly seats. Let the dictatorial rule of the BJP dethrone the TRS government. We will also unseat the BJP government at the Centre," he said.Addressing the party’s elected representatives at Jal Vihar on Saturday to enlist support for opposition parties’ presidential candidate Yashwant Sinha, he said: “Telangana people have fought for 60 years for achieving a separate state. We are ready for another round of fight.” Accusing the PM as a ‘salesman’ working for a few businessmen in the country, KCR said the PM had embarrassed the entire country over the Sri Lankan power deal issue. “No PM has faced such serious allegations of getting contracts for his friends. Because of him, India’s reputation is tarnished at various international fora. He may keep quiet, but we will question him. If he does not reply in Sunday’s public meeting, we will consider him as guilty,” KCR said. Referring to Modi’s visit to the city, KCR said: “Modi will obviously speak against me at Sunday’s rally. In a democracy, anyone can say whatever he or she wants. But, he should also answer certain questions raised by me.” In his one-hour long speech, KCR spoke about various issues, especially promises made by Modi, farmers’ agitation, Make in India, etc. End of ArticleFOLLOW US ON SOCIAL MEDIA
