The Xiaomi Redmi G (2021) Is Now Orderable Globally

The Redmi G (2021) is finally orderable globally, although not from Xiaomi directly. Instead, the laptop is available via third-party retailers that ship it from their Chinese warehouses. Hence, you may need to pay customs and duties depending on from where you are purchasing the device.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi G (2021) last month in China, where it started at CNY 5,699 (~US$893). As we discussed at the time, the entry-level model features an Intel Core i5-11260H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU. By contrast, the more expensive model eschews these parts for an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and a GeForce RTX 3060, a much more powerful combination.

Both configurations come with a 16.1-inch and 144 Hz display though, along with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. Currently, AliExpress and Banggood stock the entry-level model, albeit or US$1,379.99 and US$1,369.99, respectively. However, we can only find the Ryzen 7 5800H SKU on AliExperss and for over US$300 more at US$1,689.99.
