Sydney Thunder got their campaign back on track after two straight losses to now stand with four points in as many games in the ongoing Big Bash League 2021/22. Thunder's English imports Sam Billings and debutant Saqib Mahmood starred in the must-win game as they put a commanding performance against the Brisbane Heat. However, they face a tough challenge in Sixers in the first Sydney smash.

The defending champions have been in smashing form and are destroying sides left, right and centre.
