OpenScape Business is the modern and future-proof all-in-one solution for Unified Communication & Collaboration, specially tailored to the requirements of small and medium-sized enterprises with one or more locations. The OpenScape Business architecture allows use independently of the existing telephony infrastructure – regardless of whether this is classic TDM telephony, IP or DECT. From powerful telephony to a feature-rich set Unified Communication (UC) solution, OpenScape Business always provides enterprises with up to 500 subscribers, or 1000 subscribers in one network, with the right solution. Various OpenScape Business models are available for different existing infrastructure sizes (X3/X5/X8). DSP channels for systems with mixed TDM and IP voice connections: DSP channels for up to 8 simultaneous connections are integrated in the mainboard. The OCCB1 plug-in module can be used to extend the number of DSP channels available, allowing up to 48 simultaneous connections. The OCCB3 card provides further digital signal processing channels and is required for increasing the maximum number of simultaneous voice connections from 49 to 128. Following the initial startup of the system, the licenses must be activated within a periond of 30 days (“activation period”). During this activation period, the system is fully functional. Subscribers, lines and UC functions need to be licensed. The country specific power cord must be ordered separately. For thermal reasons, the second slot of the OSBiz X3W system must not be equipped with any of the following card types, if a SLAD16 is installed in the first slot: SLAD16, SLAD8, SLAD4, 16SLA, 8SLA, 4SLA. To guard against electromagnetic interference on the MDF lines of the OSBiz X3 systems, ferrite sleeves must be used on each line. One kit with 5 ferrite sleeves (L30251-U600-A229) is already included in the delivery package of the basic system (enough for the ports provided by the motherboard). Further sleeves must be ordered separately, as required; one sleeve must be calculated per 3 additional ports (S0, analog, UP0/E, loop start).
