Trong bài thi Speaking IELTS Part 2, bạn sẽ cần chuẩn bị một bài nói dài từ 1-2 phút về một chủ đề nào đó.

Phần thi này nhằm mục đích kiểm tra khả năng trình bày bằng tiếng Anh của bạn có mạch lạc và lưu loát hay không.

Trong quá trình thi Speaking IELTS, chuyên viên chấm thi sẽ đánh giá bài nói của bạn dựa trên 4 tiêu chí sau đây:

• Độ lưu loát và mạch lạc – 25% số điểm
• Vốn từ vựng – 25%
• Ngữ pháp và độ chính xác – 25%
• Phát âm – 25%

Today I would like to describe a person who does very well at work, and that is no other than Ms. My Tam, a very famous singer in Vietnam. I have a nuclear family that comprises my father, mother, and younger sister. Out of all these people, I spend the majority of my time with my sister. She is a thoughtful and considerate person. Actually, I am a real foodie and I normally roam around the city where I live to try different tasty dishes. The restaurant that I enjoy going to the most is located in the suburbs of Hanoi City and it is named after its chief executive Jenny Nguyen. I first went to this restaurant with my university classmates at our get-together party and quickly fell in love with it. Today, Im going to share with you an interesting public place where I really enjoy going to hanging out with my close friends in my spare time, which is a lovely café named X.It is situated at Y – a small quiet lane near my university in the center of my hometown. The coffee house is decorated in an old, traditional French style, with a lot of paintings on the wall, and it attracts a lot of foreign customers. Today I am going to share with you a description of my ideal apartment that I would like to live in. Since I live in a big city, it is probably more convenient to buy a condo in a building complex.I prefer a cozy place, so, I would expect it to be not too big, about 90 to 100 square meters, with 2 bedrooms and 2 balconies. I’ve lived my whole life here in Ho Chi Minh City. There’re several buildings that hold significant meaning in our cultures. Among these, the one which I enjoy visiting the most is Duc Ba Cathedral.It’s located in District 1 – right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. The church is surrounded by other important structures such as Reunification Palace on the right, HCM Post Office on the left, and at the back Diamond Plaza – a great place for shopping. Getting it is quite easy. It’s a 5-minute walk from here.Even though there’re plenty of churches around here, this one is quite unique for it was built by French colonizers before they left Vietnam. The architecture of Notre Dame is not only impressive but also unique. It’s quite large. It was built out of bricks and concrete. Its distinctive shape makes it look like a whole lot of mushrooms to me. The church comprises a rectangular building with 2 towers at the sides of the entrance, along with the statue of Mother Maria in front. Because the building is quite old, certain parts of it have been reconstructed time and again.There’re several activities take place at this place. For example, Christians go there to say their prayers, tourists pay a visit to this must-visit structure, husband-and-wife-to-be pose for their wedding photos while young people just sit around for chit-chat and take in the view. I guess I love this building not only because of its distinct look but also due to the memories I have had there with my friends and loved ones.

Well. I try to help people whenever I can, even if it is in a small way. I try to help my parents with work in the house, and I usually help with the cooking whenever I am around at the time the meal is being made. If I come across beggars on the street, I often give them something, though not always. Sometimes I’m not sure they are really poor people because I’ve heard there are a lot of fakes who pretend to be poor or sick. One time, in particular, I passed an older man who was begging. It was early in the morning, and I was on my way to a class. Something caused me to take special note of this man. I started to get some money out of my bag for him when it seemed as if a little voice inside told me to get some food for him instead. I hesitated for a moment, but I couldn’t shake the thought. Then I went back to the man and handed it to him, and said some kind words to him. I think he was delighted to have some warm food on a chilly morning. Honestly, though, I think doing this might have made me happier than it did him. I felt good after helping him.

I can remember having a really enjoyable meal on New Year’s Eve when I just started my new job at a company. I had always wanted to work for about two years after I had graduated from university. It was on New Year’s Eve and my whole family was there including my parents, my elder brother, and a couple of friends. We met up with some old school friends, it was like a reunion. Also, my mother’s best friend and her son joined us. It was a highly enjoyable occasion as most people knew each other. Also, the food was great. Everybody came to our house and brought different dishes. We ate barbecued chicken, green salad, and fried and baked potatoes. For dessert, we had plum pudding. I would like to share a funny story that I heard from Julie, a friend of mine, a long time ago. It was a random day that our group hung out at a coffee shop and sat at the circle table near the window, as we usually do. This was our favorite spot. But that day, instead of ordering a cappuccino as I usually do, I decided to try a completely new drink – a mojito mixed with some fruit, though I can’t remember exactly what.The mojito looked good on the outside but its taste was unbearable to me. Despite my warning, Julie insisted on trying it. It turned out that she liked the drink very much and at that moment, she concluded that it tasted exactly like the toothpaste that she ate in her childhood. Learning of this incident, we were a bit shocked as to why she ate such a thing, so she continued to elaborate on her story. She recalled that she indeed thought that the taste of toothpaste was delicious, and even though she was banned from eating it by her parents, she secretly saved money to buy one for herself a few years later. She added that she sneakily hid the tube in the room and she could finish the whole thing in one go. We were frozen and all eyes were on her for a few seconds. Then we all burst into laughter. I still remember laughing so hard that my tears ran down.I was indeed impressed by her story. As the matter of fact, it wasn’t the first time I had heard of someone enjoying eating toothpaste, but secretly saving money to do this was a surprise element and it was hilarious. And of course, it has become an inside joke between us since then.

I would like to talk about the time I held a birthday party for my younger sister. It was back in 2015 when she passed the university entrance examination with flying colors and immediately got admitted to three top universities in Ho Chi Minh City, which came as a surprise to all of my family. Therefore, to mark her resounding success as well as her turning point in life, I celebrated her 18th birthday, just a few days after she received the acceptance letters.Moving on to the details, I would say that it was more of a family dinner that only involved my own family and some of my sister’s close friends. Alright. So there are four distinct seasons in Vietnam, namely spring, summer, fall, and winter, and each holds its own beauty and uniqueness. But among these, I think spring is the most favorable. Right. Spring in Vietnam normally begins in February and lasts about three to four months. Some call springs the transition between winter and summer, and while I admit that they got a point, I still believe spring is much more of a transitional phase. The first thing that I noticed is that the weather was pretty pleasant compared to other periods of the year. I’m going to talk about the teddy bear that my parents gave me on my fifth birthday.My parents told me that, at first, they didn’t know what gift to give me because there were so many choices. Format quyển kế hoạch rất tốt, tập cho mình thói quen lên kế hoạch bất cứ việc gì. Lộ trình học từng ngày rõ ràng, các bạn tạo thói quen theo lộ trình đi, lười thì mãi không bao giờ tiến bộ được đâu, dù phương pháp tốt cỡ nào.

  Mình mua cho em mình học, quá trình kèm cặp nó mình thấy cái này rất chi tiết từng bước để học.Trước đó mình có mua nhiều tài liệu TA to hơn, dày hơn nhưng lại bị giới hạn ở chỗ, không có chỉ tiết lộ trình học như cuốn này. Nên làm được vài trang thì mình bỏ ngang luôn.Em mình cứ học theo app này này được gần 1 tháng rồi và phát âm tiến bộ rất nhiều, em mình cũng ham học tiếng Anh hơn trước.Thực sự cách học này ổn áp lắm!
