Trảu đuôi Xanh – Blue Tailed Bee-eater | Vietnam Wildlife

Mô tả:

Chim ngực nâu thuộc bộ Sả trong họ Trảu (Meropidae) có chiều dài khoảng 30cm kể cả lông đuôi. Bộ lông chủ yếu màu xanh lá cây, phần thân trên có màu vàng. Chim có một mảng xanh nhỏ trên mặt với một sọc đen ngang mắt và cổ họng màu vàng nâu. Đuôi chim hoàn toàn màu xanh da trời khi bay với hai lông đuôi dài hơn ở giữa đuôi. Chim có mỏ đen dài, cổ vàng và ngực nâu.

Description:

Blue-tailed bee-eater is a bird in the Meropidae family under the Coraciiformes order with its length is about 30 cm. It is predominately green; upper-part is yellow. Its face has a narrow blue patch with a black eye stripe, and a yellow and brown throat; Their tail is clearly blue when flying with two elongated central tail feathers. It has a long and black beak, yellow neck and brown chest.
