HP Recommended Product: HP OMEN - 15 CE008NW - 2BR99EA#AKD Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit) Hello, I write by Google Translator. How to disable the game mode? The message about the possibility and the inclusion of this mode appeared while playing but I can not find the settings responsible for this mode. I play rarely in games and I use the Internet and watch movies on a daily basis. So I do not need this mode on a daily basis. And by the way or notebook in this mode should not work more efficiently and with full power?

You can type it into either one of those boxes.

The first image you posted shows the Cortana Search Bar on the bottom left, next to the Start button.

The second image of the Run dialog box will also work.

winver is the english word. Its short for Windows Version. I dont know what it will be in your language.

Hello @adamadamek76

If you are using the Fall Creators Update, Game Mode does not have a switch to enable / disable anymore.

But you can enable / disable it in the Windows Registry.

It should already be disabled by default.

Type regedit in Search and choose it from the menu.

Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\GameBar

Right click an empty space on the right side and choose to create a new DWORD (32 bit).

Name it AllowAutoGameMode.

Leave its value at 0 to turn it off. To turn it on, change the value to 1.

You can access the Gamebar by pressing the Windows key + G key.

Also you can disable the Gamebar in Widnows Settings>Gaming>Game Bar

HP Recommended Windows 10 (1709) I have installed from the beginning by the producer and it is not really "Fall Creators". I did not change anything. There is no other way to disable this game mode? Only through the "System Registry"? Was this reply helpful? Yes No adamadamek76 adamadamek76 Author 64 1 1 12,341 Apprentice Level 4

Again, you can also disable the Game Bar from All Settings.

This and the registry is the only way I know of.

If you see another button to do so, let me know.

You said you have Windows version 1709 but its not really Fall Creators?

I dont know what you mean by that.

HP Recommended I do not know what "Fall Creators" I wrote just because it was known that I did not change anything in the system, only I have the original Windows installed by the manufacturer Was this reply helpful? Yes No Photoray002 Photoray002 12,679 4,410 1,310 12,316 Trailblazer Level 15

OK.

Go to the Search Bar (Cortana) and type winver.

Press the Enter key.

It will tell you what version of Windows 10 you have.

If it says 1709, that is the Fall Creators Update.
