Skynet has made a lot of bad ass Cyborgs in it's day... Terminators that terminate Terminators. Terminators that terminate the Terminators, that terminate other Terminators... Much like the whole "time travel" thing, I'm officially confused as fuck as to who is the title holder for most "bad ass" Terminator these days. So here's an attempt to start figuring out who's who on the "bad assery" scale. A T-X Vs. A T-3000 Jedi Matt

Strength wise they both manhandle the T-850. Both are faster. He's more durable due to being the nano-swarm thingie, but she's got a plasma Cannon. Jared

The scalpel.
It doesn't seem like the weapons would be all that effective. The T-3000 walked out of an exploding armory. Being bisected with an industrial laser only briefly slowed him down. Jedi Matt

The T-X does have a Plasma Cannon. Vulpes1307

Faking it
I really wanted to see the movie but heard it was complete shit, aside from that I think the T-X has the advantage of being made for the specific purpose of killing terminators, whereas the T-3000 is just some weird alternate dimension Skynet bid for winning in another world. Jared

And why would that be any worse than what the 3000 shrugs off? Tech Wolf

And? The T-3000 has seen to be immune to any kind of attack. Plus the T-3000 is an upgrade to the T-X so why would the T-X win? Edit: I doubt the plasma cannon would do anything considering it was made late war and has a huge chance of being immune to plasma weapons. Jedi Matt

Aside from the industrial laser, the T-850 can at least deal with most of the same damage. Same with the T-1000. The Plasma cannon is kinda killy for either the 850 and the 1000. Tech Wolf

It was even shown in the comics that the plasma canon can defeat a T-1000 yes. However, this is a huge upgrade and was made much later on. The T-3000 is an upgrade. CIDE

I had something for this
I just want to point out that the T3000 incarnation of Skynet took out that entire hit squad that was there when it infected John Conner. It's good to note that these are experienced veterans equipped with the future plasma guns. I'm not entirely sure basic plasma weapons may be all that effective here. That said the TX did seem to manhandle the T850 way easier than the 3000 did. Tech Wolf

The T-3000 didn't go up against a T-850. Pops is a T-800 the same make and model from terminator 1 and 2. The manifestation of Skynet is the T-5000. Jedi Matt

The T-3000 isn't even from the same universe as the T-X I'd be skeptical to even call it an upgrade. Laird

*flips a coin* I dunno, both seem pretty equal, both survived a flaming helicopter crash, both survived magnet attacks, guns, grenades, rpg's, physical strikes from a T8(5))(0)0. I'll go with whomever is considered "cooler" that means they'll survive. Tech Wolf

The T-3000 took a RPG to face and shrugged it off, tanked high callbre bullets and a truck, and could punch though solid steel like it was made of paper. The T-X was damaged by the RPG it took by the way. Jedi Matt

The T-X wasn't even majorly damaged by that RPG. When it caught up to Conner it was perfectly fine. The T850 didn't do anymore meaningful damage in close quarters than the T800 did to the T-3000. Tech Wolf

We can say they are both pretty durable. Would The T-X hold its ground? Absolutely, it most certainly would be a very destructive battle. The T-X would have to rely almost exclusively on its in built weapons as hand to hand combat would prove pointless. If the T-3000 managed to damage its internal weapons then the T-X would be in for a nasty surprise. If battle damaged enough the T-X's frame can break while the T-3000 would almost unmatched durability. Unless the T-X somehow found some giant plot convenient magnet to take out the T-3000 then its going to be a lonngg night. volrath77

A pity we've never seen the TX use its EMP generator and nano-disrupter in the movie... bluerock

I agree with your signature, but as for your taste in terminator flicks, you're crazy! :)
