What are TYPE S UltraBright LED Fog Lights? These are high-output LED headlight replacement bulbs marketed as “fog lights” because they are not DOT-approved for on-road use. They’re ideal for off-road or auxiliary lighting applications. What is the brightness and color temperature? Each bulb delivers 1800 lumens of crisp white light at 6500K offering dramatically improved clarity over traditional halogen bulbs. Are these bulbs plug-and-play? Yes in most vehicles installation is plug-and-play. However some vehicles may require CANBUS decoders or adapter clips depending on the socket type or electrical system. Certain TYPE S bulbs include adapter rings in order to accommodate different fitments reference your user manual for fitment compatibility and our manual for adapter ring guidance.
