UL 94V-0 Flame Retardancy Master Bond’s UL listed products are used in a very special and specific manner as potting or encapsulating compounds. Essentially, these epoxies are “self extinguishing” and tested by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) in a very comprehensive manner. Our products are rated to UL 94V-0, the highest level of flame retardancy. The other ratings are UL 94V-1 and UL 94V-2. Additionally, UL rates these epoxies for temperatures up to 90°C.

Master Bond also has silicones that are rated for flame retardancy. One part RTV system are rated for UL 94V-0 or UL 94V-1, depending on the thickness of the layer. They can be used as either adhesives or sealants.
