IgnacioB I At the 20K mark I opted to change oil and service myself, but can't get the reminder to reset. I've tried the 0.0 trick of holding in the button, turning on the ignition (without starting...I'm also KESSY), and pressing the 0.0 button again. It says "Service Rest", but then follows up with a "Service Now!" about two seconds later. And comes back on when I recycle the the ignition. Same thing if I try via VCDS equivalent. It says it stored the Reset value, but reminder still comes on. Also, I don't see anything in the Setup screen on the center dash to reset anything....just a status of needing "Service Now!" and 9885 miles until the next one. 2015 GTI w/PP & KESSY. I'm wondering if it's a conflict with my Eurodyne Flash or hopefully I'm just missing something obvious. Any ideas? Thanks. #1 · May 19, 2016 At the 20K mark I opted to change oil and service myself, but can't get the reminder to reset. Try holding the 0.0 button after the oil reset option which it will show the inspection reset option. Default, inspection is set for 20k or 720 days ish. Try this. Reason: same thing happened to me a few months ago and drove me nuts till I figured this out. #4 · May 19, 2016 Can you expand on this. I have not had to do this, but dont want to run into issues since i do most maintenance myself. So if you do the oil reset one, after it resets you press and hold the 0,0 again and it will be another reset for the inspection? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk #11 · Oct 6, 2016 (Edited) How to clear oil change reminder in Vehicle Status I recently did my first oil change at about 4500 miles, I reset the oil change counter by holding down the 0.0, and pushing start, etc. However now every day I get the "oil change in 7600mi" reminder, how can I get rid of it? I do not see any faults in obdeleven I have searched around and have not come up with anything, any help would be appreciated Image #16 · Oct 8, 2016

I would go into Dashboard Controller Module in OBDeleven. Then Adaptation. Then check the values of services/inspections channels. 0 Reply #12 · Oct 7, 2016 tried and true method Unless you live super far away, how about driving to a VW dealer and having them reset it for you. #13 · Oct 7, 2016

Imagine if he was living 7600 miles away from the dealer! 1 Reply #17 · Oct 8, 2016 Wish I would have done this, but I reset the inspection by holding down the 0.0, that did not do it until I also reset the oil service too using the 0.0 method. Thanks for the input. #18 · Sep 9, 2021

I came up with the same issue and figured it out : for me there are two kind of services that you can reset : intermediate service and service. The method you are referring to is for the intermediate service reset. For the service reset, FIRST TURN ON THE WARNINGS and then proceed to the method (hold 0.0 button and start ignition). The screen will then ask for a service reset (and not int.service). Insert Quotes Post Reply
