Stabilization(1minute) - Greeting B. Check up(3minutes) - Call student to answer the questions in the reading part. C. D. New lesson I. Pre writing:(12minutes) 1. Pre teaching vocabulary: - coast (n): vịnh nước - abundant (adj) = plentiful, more than enough: nhiều, phong phú) Eg: Vietnam has a lot of abundant natural resources. - Location: vị trí - Limestone: đá vôi - Tropical forest: rừng nhiệt đới. 2. Lucky number: 1.Where is Cat Ba National Park? 2.Where is it located? 3.What are the special features of Cat Ba National Park? 4.How large is it? 5.What do you know about the animals and plants in Cat Ba National Park? Keys: 1.Hai Phong 2.In CatBa Island 3. Beautiful landscapes, rare animals. 4.15,200 ha 5. It is variety of animal and plants in Cat Ba. II. While writing: (14minutes) Arrange into the meanings sentences. 1. Stone tools and human bones were found in island’s limestone cave, it reveals people and inhabit 6,000 years ago. - Teacher asks student to repeat the words on screen after her. - Call some student to read. - Ask student to choose a number to answer the question. - Call student to say out their answers. - Check with the class. - Teacher gives outline for description Cat Ba National park :( location, animal, plant, specific features, area, historic). - Ask student to work in pairs to do the task. - Call student to give answer. - Teacher checks on slide. - Ask student to write individually a short description of Cat Ba National Park based on these cues. - Move around to give help. - Call student to write answer on the board. - Make correction if necessary. - Teacher shows on slide a modal writing for student reference. E. Homework(1minute) - Have student write the description about Cat Ba National Park into their notebook. - Learn new words by heart - Prepare new lesson. - Students write down homework in their notebook.
