DESCRIPTION CLASS:Class 10A7: 26 boys, 13 girls. all Vietnamese. They are all students and they get on well together as a class.Most of them had actually studied some English at primary schools and junior high school.II. TIME: 45 minutesIII. TEACHING AIDS: Pictures, board , textbook and notebook.IV. ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS: - Problem : Students the specific information because of some new words - Solution : Support them some new word related to the topic todayV. ASSUMED KNOWLEDGE Students known some vocabulary about topic Community development VI. OBJECTION:By the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:* Knowledge:- (1) Learn some new words related to the topic activities for community devolopment: low- income, facilities, kindergarent, widen, remove, ensure, ect..- (2) Learn about some phrase + to state your opinion as: In my opinion, ... Ask students some question:-what do you think these activities are usefull to commutity?- Have you ever helped disadvantages people? What?- Call students to answer the questions and share their opinions, encouraging different viewpoints.- Pay attention to teacher and then answerFundingBringing things (clothes) to the needyRaising fund or taking opinions- Students should comment whether these activities are useful to the community or not.- To create excited for students.- To elicit new lessonTask 1- Ask student to read task 1 quickly and underline new words - Then provide for students meaning of those words:+ low- income(n): thu nhập thấp+ kindergarten(n): trường mẫu giáo+ remove(adj): xa+ ensure(v)= certain: chắc chắn- Ask students to work by themselves to look at some activities for community development and to match them with the reasons why they are important.- Suggested match activities for community development with the reasons- Go round and help students when and where necessary.- Have them compare the answers with others.- Check students’ answers.- Call on individual students to read aloud these activities and give the reasons why they are important.Key task 1:1.c2.d3.e4.a5.b- Ask students read in pair the sentences after match - Read and underline new work- Listen and repeat new words then write down in text book- work in group 3 to match some activities for community development with the reasons why they are important.- Go to the board and match - Read the sentences 1. Building houses for low-income people. When people have a place to live, they can develop other parts of their lives. 2. Building facilities like kindergartens, schools and parks. These are necessary facilities for daily living. 3. Widening roads, fixing running water, providing electricity in rural and remote areas.
