a. Reported orders and requests (Tường thuật mệnh lệnh và yêu cầu)

Với loại tường thuật này chúng ta có thể sử dụng mẫu tường thuật: to tell/ask someone to do sth (bảo/yêu cầu ai làm gì)

Dạng phủ định: to tell/ask sb not to do sth (bảo/yêu cầu ai đừng làm gì)

b. Reported offers and suggestions (Tường thuật đề nghị giúp đỡ và sự đề nghị)

Chúng ta sử dụng các động từ offer (đề nghị giúp đỡ), promise (hứa), refuse (từ chối), agree (đồng ý), threaten (đe dọa) với động từ nguyên mẫu

Chúng ta có thể sử dụng mẫu: reported verb + object + to do something sau các động từ tường thuật sau các động từ tường thuật remind (nhắc nhở), warn (cảnh báo), advise (khuyên bảo), invite (mời)
