• These key dates are for all students except: ADFA, AGSM MBA, Diploma, Hexamester, Higher Degree Research, UG Medicine, Plus Alliance.
• For term/semester dates: Academic calendar.
• For calendar display of dates: PDF planner or subscribe (iCal).
• For religious and cultural dates: Culturally inclusive calendar.

Term 3, 2025 - Exam Period (T3)

Term 3, 2025 - Release of Results

18 Dec 2025, 12:00pm

12:00pm Sydney time (AEDT) to student email accounts and 5:00pm to myUNSW. All Teaching Periods except T3C (i.e. T3, T3A, T3B, EM4, MG3, M3A, AFB).

Term 3, 2025 - Deadline to drop WITH academic penalty (T3C)

19 Dec 2025, 11:59pm

Last day to drop Teaching Period Three - C (T3C) courses WITH academic penalty, resulting in a grade of AW (Academic Withdrawal). Note: T3C is not a main teaching period and runs for 4 weeks from the end of Teaching Period Three (T3). Please check the teaching period of your courses in myUNSW.

Christmas and New Year holiday shutdown period

23 Dec 2025 – 4 Jan 2026

Summer Term, 2026 - Drop course enrolment if failed to class register (U1)

5 Jan 2026

If you have not registered for Summer Teaching Period (U1) classes by this date, your enrolment in the course will be cancelled.

Term 3, 2025 - Supplementary Exam Period (T3)

5 Jan – 9 Jan 2026

Supplementary exams will be held during the above period. Excludes AGSM, ADFA, Art & Design and School of Optometry (contact schools for more information).

Term 3, 2025 - Release of Results (T3C)

9 Jan 2026, 12:00pm

12:00pm Sydney time (AEDT) to myUNSW. Note: T3C is not a main teaching period and runs for 4 weeks from the end of Teaching Period Three (T3). Please check the teaching period of your courses in myUNSW.

Summer Term, 2026 - Enrolment deadline and Payment due (U1)

11 Jan 2026, 11:59pm

Last day to enrol and/or update timetable and pay fees for Summer Teaching Period (U1) courses via myUNSW.

Summer Term, 2026 - Census date and drop without academic penalty (U1)

22 Jan 2026, 11:59pm

Last day to drop Summer Teaching Period (U1) courses without financial and academic penalty.

Summer Term, 2026 - Final Exam Timetable released (U1)

27 Jan 2026
