tuggz T Hi, new to the forums so bear with me :D I have tried to search, but can't find anything that fits my problem. So, I traded for a 2009 Passat CC 3.6, with some nice options. Very nice car! This is my first Volkswagen, only have built stereos in older cars before. The sound in the car is one thing that is not as nice as rest of the car. Tweeters are way to sharp even with the EQ turned down. I'm looking to add an DSP and change the speakers both in front and the back. I talked to a local installer and he claimed it should be PnP. I do have an OEM amp under the drivers seat, and after some research I found out I have a Monsoon sound system. (Looked up the options codes in the manual.) 9VG = Sound system "Monsoon" 8AI = Radio "RCD510 MP3" How is the right way to do this? Is there a way to bypass the OEM amp? I understand that the OEM amp has a 4ch input and a 8ch output. I'd rather not cut the original wires. Edit: Forgot to mention, the OEM amp's model is: 3C0 035 456 K #1 · Jul 29, 2020 (Edited) Hi, new to the forums so bear with me :D I have tried to search, but can't find anything that fits my problem. Like the title says, I have a bad (Dynaudio) speaker in the front passenger door. It usually just buzzed a little bit when it got cold out (I'm in Alaska), but this season it suddenly got worse and is just making the usual blown-out speaker noises. I'm not looking to go crazy with installing new aftermarket speakers or anything like that. I'm looking for a direct replacement to the woofer or whatever module is mounted in the lower part of the passenger door. The trouble I'm having is finding whatever parts I need to order and a set of instructions to do it so I don't end up busting something that costs a lot more to replace. I'm also looking to replace it myself. The people at the local VW dealership are very polite and do good work, but I don't want to spend $600 in labor for someone to replace a speaker. I figured I'd turn to this sub for some guidance. Thank you! #3 · Aug 14, 2020 best one i noticed many of these problems so i move with jbl car speakers. branded products works very well.
