146med Hi, we've been been having DPF issues with our car. "Soor filter full" message comes on intermittently. It's burning a lot of oil - no apparent leaks, or smoking exhaust. And there is a smell of diesel in the cabin. It's had several EGR and cooler, and turbo replaced under waranty since new. It's had all the software updates. It's had DPF cleaned off the car. It's been to main dealers and Pye Volvo specialist, and they've not been able to get to the bottom of the issue. I've attached a copy of the live data for a motorway run. Any ideas? Current codes: ECM-P246300 Diesel Particulate Filter - Soot Accumulation. General Failure Information. No Sub Type Information. ECM-P250F68 Engine Oil Level Too Low .Algorithm Based Failures. Ordinary diesel?.. or Diesel Plus, the expensive stuff? #4 · Apr 12, 2022 It's 2014, 119k miles and we use regular diesel. We took it for another drive on the motoway and recorded the live data. We also tried to run DPF regen via diagnostic, but it failed with the "conditions not met" message. The following codes were recorded on the drive: P226200 Turbo / Super Charger Boost Pressure Not Detected - Mechanical .General Failure Information. #5 · Apr 29, 2022 I had the same issues with my DPF at 120 000km. I tried everything, from cleaning to regen and and and, except replacing it. Head Volvo tech told me DPF's are not absolute and needs replacement after XXX Km, depending on driving habits. But they are expensive. We do not have MOT, so I removed it again, and broke the core out, and had a dpf delete done. That was almost 5 years ago, and I have not had any problems. No smoking or anything. Do not drive the car like that, get it sorted asap. If you have done regen, I would do a oil change ASAP. Insert Quotes Post Reply
