Tháp bằng thép không thể lớn lên được. Vì thép là chất rắn có tính chất nở ra khi nóng lên, co lại khi lạnh đi mà ở thời gian ngày 01/01/1890 là mùa đông có nhiệt độ thấp nên thép co lại và ngày 01/07/1890 là mùa hè có nhiệt độ cao hơn mùa đông nên thép nở ra. Do vậy, trong vòng 6 tháng từ mùa đông tới mùa hè tháp cao hơn thêm 10 cm.

Environmental pollution is the status of environmental contamination by chemical, biological ... affect human health, other living organisms.Environmental pollution is caused by humans and human management. The main types of pollution : - Air pollution : Smoke and dust discharge chemicals into the atmosphere. Examples of toxic gases as carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, cloroflorocacbon substances (CFCs) and nitrous oxide are of industrial waste and vehicle - Water pollution occurs when surface water flows through the domestic waste, industrial waste water, pollutants in the ground, and groundwater seepage. - Soil pollution occurs when soil contaminated with toxic chemicals (concentrations exceed normal limits) by the activities of man as active mining, industrial production and use of chemical fertilizers Study or too much pesticide, ... or leaks from underground storage tanks. Most common types of soil contaminants are hydrocarbons, heavy metals, MTBE, herbicides, pesticides, and chlorinated hydrocarbons . - Radioactive Pollution , Noise pollution , Light Pollution ... Affect : + For human health : Air pollution can kill many living organisms including humans. Ozone pollution can cause respiratory disease, cardiovascular disease, inflammation of the throat, chest pain, breathlessness. Oil spills can cause itching blisters. Noise pollution causes hearing loss, hypertension, depression, and insomnia., causing serious consequences . + For ecosystem : - Sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides cause acid rain can reduce soil pH. - Contaminated land may become barren, not suitable for crops. I. Đoạn văn bằng tiếng anh về nơi mình sống

I was born and grown up on the poor land in Duc Tho district, Ha Tinh province. That’s where deeply attaches to me 24 years of life. If anyone who asks me that “What’s the thing your most proud of?” .I will answer that’s my hometown. Duc Tho is the land poor where the people live by rice cultivation, breeding, and fishing. Although the life is very difficult, but the people is very friendly, and studious. In Duc Tho, there is a Tung Anh village where called “Doctor village”. Duc Tho is also the home of Tran Phu Secretary General, and marked many memories of the great leader Ho Chi Minh.

If you come to Duc Tho, you will feel many interesting things, visiting Tran Phu tombstone, La Giang dyke, rowing on La driver, and enjoying the traditional songs. In the evening, they can enjoy a special food which is “mussel rice” – just only eat one time, you will never forget.

Beautiful and unobtrusive! Duc Tho always tries to grow, and to improve the life of people, but keeping the traditional culture.

“Tôi sinh ra và lớn lên trên miền đất nghèo thuộc huyện Đức Thọ, tỉnh Hà Tĩnh. Đó là nơi gắn bó với tôi 24 năm cuộc đời. Nếu có ai hỏi tôi rằng “Điều gì làm tôi tự hào nhất?”. Tôi sẽ trả lời đó chính là quê hương tôi. Đức Thọ là mảnh đất nghèo, người dân ở đây sống bằng nghề trồng lúa, chăn nuôi và đánh cá. Đức Thọ cũng chính là quê hương của cố tổng bí thư Trần Phú, và đã ghi nhiều dấu ấn của lãnh tụ Hồ Chí Minh vĩ đại.

Nếu đặt chân đến Đức Thọ, bạn sẽ cảm nhận được nhiều điều thú vị, đi tham quan mộ cố tổng bí thư Trần Phú, đê La Giang, chèo thuyền trên sông La, và nghe câu hò ví dặm. Khi hoàng hôn xuống, cùng nhau thưởng thức cơm hến – một đặc sản ẩm thức chỉ ăn một lần là nhớ.

Đẹp và bình dị ! Đức Thọ luôn luôn cố gắng để đổi mới, cải thiện đời sống nhân dân, nhưng luôn giữ gìn bản sắc quê hương đậm đà’’.

Environment is an essential part of our life. A clean environment is necessary for a peaceful and healthy life. Any type of disturbance in the nature’s balance affects the environment totally. It does not only ruin human lives but also affects on all living beings. It is very important to save environment for human existence. When we protect the environment, we are protecting ourselves and our future as well.

Plant a tree every month, encourage your friends and colleagues to join you. Have more and more trees planted and there will come a day when you have a green stretch of land thanks to your effort.Walk more, drive less. Now that's not very difficult, is it? Choose to walk short distances instead of taking your car every time. Walking to the gym, to work (if it's not very far), go walking to run errands. Or use a bicycle. Both cycling and walking are good exercises. And each time you avoid using your car, you are contributing to reducing air pollution. You are saving fuel, saving money and getting a good workout too.
