Looking further into the future, we have expanded our production in geographically-advantaged Vietnam. In December 1995, we obtained permission of operation from the VIETNAM Ministry of Planning and Investment. The operation started in April 1997 and continues up to the present. In order to meet customers’ needs that frequently change as time goes by, we opened a factory in Hung Yen in 2009, in addition to the Hanoi Factory, and started production of magnesium die-cast alloys for the first time in Vietnam. Furthermore, in May 2020, the first stage of construction of the Pho Noi Factory (Third Factory) was completed on a site of 43,000 m², and full-scale mass production had been begun in January 2021.
