| Lottsburg VA | First new Holland tractor for our farm, just basic utility duties. We had a new Kubota 135 hp that spent the entire year being repaired for about everything that could go wrong. Transmission at 21 hours, constant PTO problems, and worse steering than an old 6600 combine going down the road. We finally reached an agreement for Kubota tractor to leave the farm and found this used low hour new Holland. Dealer let me demo it and I hooked it up to my 20ft bushog 12820 mower and it really impressed me. While down on hp on paper compared to the Kubota this would run circles around it. PTO engagement was smooth and easy like it should be and Kubota is either engaged or off, no way to modulate engagement on Kubota. I have only put about 80 hours on New Holland bit so far so good, it is now wearing a snow plow for the rest of the winter and has done an excellent job at that so far, employees love it, cab is basic but comfortable. It ran 56 hours straight in 0-12 degree weather in blizzard conditions all while keeping the driver's warm, unstuck and comfortable. Tractor is the perfect height for what we needed which was a major factor as it will mow grass all summer and field edges and tree limbs are tough on tall cabs. |

northeastern Ohio | I have a T6 165 and a T6050. Both have been good tractors. My T6 165 has the 17 speed that allows it to go 34 mph. Suspended cab and front axle. Loader up front. I probably use it more than any other tractor. (t6165.jpg)Attachments---------------- t6165.jpg (98KB - 381 downloads) |

| Kingdom of Callaway - Fulton, Mo 65251 | I have a T6.165 and wish we had another. We run a TMR mixer with it feeding everyday, bale with it in the summer, and its the one everyone grabs when given the chance. I wish I had the high speed version, my goes 24 to 27. |

 | They have been very good tractors with a motor that is hard to beat. |

| SC Wisconsin | Are the T6 basically a maxxum in blue? I can't keep track of new hollands numbering system, but I may start liking for a maxxum 125-140 in the next year or so and wouldn't be against a new Holland |

northeastern Ohio | Same engine and transmission. Different cab controls. Super Steer is an option on the NH but not on the Maxxum. I had a Maxxum 110Pro for a few years. I liked the shifter on the throttle, but otherwise I like the layout of the NH controls. |

| Lottsburg VA | I think they told me they were basically the same. Ours doesn't have the super steer axle, it's just a basic tractor, lever controls. The tractor just rides, drives and handles Excellent. This is the first blue tractor on our farm since my dad bought a Ford 4000 in 1970. We still have that tractor and use it too. I cannot stress enough how much I like it so far, I am a basic tractor kind of person anyway, sure we have several with autosteer and one we bought that at auction that has heated seats and all the bells and whistles, but I am just as happy using the basics that I grew up driving. This tractor just fits perfectly, Excellent visibility, and the lh reverser is the only one that seems to be as smooth as our 7820 Deere. Time with tell how it holds up but for now I'm happy. I also need to say how stingy it is on fuel, we pushed snow for close to a week straight, and we keep track of fuel burn so I can estimate my bids for upcoming year, this tractor only averaged 3.2 gals per hour pushing 11ft snowplow at 16mph. Now it was a very dry snow but it was a lot of it and big drifts, we finished we had 81%def fluid left and we refueled every 12 hours at driver switch not because we needed fuel just because it was convenient. |
